Why Pickr exists

I built Pickr because I was tired of my own tools.

Built by entrepreneurs and recruiters, for recruiters.

I run ScalingPPL, a recruitment agency in Austria. Every day, my team juggled Bullhorn, LinkedIn, email, WhatsApp, Google Sheets, and a prayer that nothing fell through the cracks.

We tried every ATS. They all had the same problem: built for compliance, not for speed. Built for HR departments, not for headhunters. An agency recruiter running fifteen mandates across eight clients is not who the major ATS platforms were designed for.

The problem

Agency recruiting is a different job. You don't hire for one company, you run pipelines for many, each with its own process, its own stakeholders, its own definition of “good.” Your real product is speed and judgment. Yet your software makes you pay for both: hours of admin per placement, and decisions made on gut feel because the data is scattered across seven tabs.

Meanwhile AI arrived, and most of the industry added a chatbot on top of a fifteen-year-old data model.

The solution

So I built Pickr. An ATS that thinks like a recruiter because it was built by one. AI-native: match scores, drafted follow-ups, interview debriefs, and process audits are the foundation, not features. Agency-first: multi-client pipelines, client portals, and placement tracking are the default data model, not a plugin. DSGVO-compliant by default: candidate data in Switzerland, compute in Frankfurt, AVV included, no training on your candidate data, because your clients will ask, and the answer should take one sentence.

Pickr exists so recruiters can spend their hours where they actually win: in conversations with candidates and clients. The software should do the rest. Now it does.
